These words are an experiment that has failed. I have tried to keep a online journal for quite some time, however, I am finding that I do not have the same interest or time anymore in maintaining a diary. So, I am attempting for the first time to keep this page as a set of notes and ideas. I have specifically made them short so they are easy to follow or argue. The first few are from my distant past, but worth starting out with. I am trying to explore how honest I can be when I know that the entire internet universe is potentially looking in on me. It should be a worthwhile experiment and your feedback is always appreciated.

I have to go easier on myself. I have been able to post a few of my thoughts and other observations over time. Although it is not a rigid schedule, it is getting the job done.

• Change is Risky

• Governments make decisions day to day about who will live and who will die.

• Passion prevents precision.

• Only the weak are sent out on paths without perils.

• Do not ignore dissenters, least you prove them right.

• As a student ask lots of questions, save the statements for your thesis.

• Study what you don't know, teach what you do.

• I accept the pendulum nature of life, it is the period of the swing I am worried about.
