Imagine all the People Living.. Co Existing.. This is My Vision and the Vision of Others.. in the IRC Channel #WITCH. We have grown to become "Family" (We have our moments Like any other IRC channel) Nevertheless its a channel of Friends who beget friends..
This Channel Began December 31, 1996 and today still grows. With People of Christian, Wicca, Shaman, Athiest and many Branches of Understanding come and share Insight and Concern..
The Channel is made up of Organization. (We are fairly new and under construction) In the few months of existance we are growing and expanding.. Through the Organization we have come up with a mass email system, this webpage, a scheduled calander of events, a photo album, a safe haven to come and discuss things ask questions and learn together..
The #Witch channel is Derived of a Council (Organizers of events, webmasters, bot controller, peace keepers, Email supervisor & more) Which depend on a consensus of the users of the channel to focus on the need, emotion Knowledge of IRC, Traditional paths of Belief and Channel Management.
The Ops (Channel Controllers) are People Chosen through Trust and Understanding.. They follow a Foundation of OPS to keep the channel eitherin line, on topic, or redirect when situations may occur.. (When Needed) They are also the consensus in the channel when we vote on changes or alterations to the channels foundations.
People come into #witch to get to know eachother.. They come in from a referral, or seeing the channel in the list of other channels in IRC, or even type a word that comes to mind.. They Join in on the conversation, some become regulars and some just pop in to see if such a channel exists...
