Dr JF van Rensburg was in charge of the Inquiry being held in the Old Supreme Court Cape Town in August 1956 with regard to the Group Areas Act. Dr JF van Rensburg told the audience, p 127 "My duty is to see this task that cannot be carried out, is carried out". At that time there were many mixed neighborhoods in the Cape. He was most probably the same person who was the previous leader of the Ossewabrandwag.

Ben Pienaar stated, p 132 "We (non-whites and whites Capetonians) complement each other and build each other up. And there are things that make for our great maturity .... Human beings were not made to fit laws; the laws must be made to fit the people".
