Did You Know?
Barnes & Noble has a great selection of grade-level workbooks for reading comprehension, math skills, spelling, poetry and more.  They're not in the back children's section.  Instead, they are at the right of the new information desk, look for "education."  The books are packed tight and your neck will get sore reading the titles on the thin bindings but I'm sure you'll find something you need ... I always do.  Happy hunting.  Liz

The Home School Legal Defense Association runs a Widows' Fund that provides families where a parent has died with financial assistence to continue homeschooling.  Click here for more information about making a donation.

Free prizes from The Old Schoolhouse! Check out this website for contests with prizes like word processors, Math-U-See, Draw Write Now, Bible software and much more.

Did you know that Barnes & Noble offers homeschoolers a 20% discount card?  To receive this card you need to demonstrate that you are a homeschooler by simply showing a signed affidavit or your school district letter approving your school year.  Shop 'til you drop!
