TThis photo was taken on the day she finished her championship. She died three months later during routine surgery due to a veterinarian administering ace promazine as a pre-anesthetic. She went into cardiac arrest and died. She was the first of three champion bitches to die because of the administration of ace promazine. We no longer allow any veterinarian to use ace promazine as a pre-anesthetic because of the fatal effect it can have on pekingese.
They were dearly loved and are greatly missed.

The following Memorial to "Tina" appeared in the Orient Express one month after we lost her.

We never dreamed that morning of the sorrow that noon would bring.
The blow was sudden the shock severe to part with the one we loved so dear.
May God give us the strength to bear it and the courage to fight the blow,
For what it means to lose her no-one will ever know.
