SLAM DUNK (Takehiko Inoue)
Freshman Hanamichi Sakuragi hated basketball - until he met Haruko Akagi, a big basketball fan and sister of Takenori Akagi, Shohoku's basketball team captain.  He learned basketball and joined the team in order to win Haruko's heart which, unfortunately, already belongs to Kaede Rukawa, another freshman but way better in basketball than Hanamichi.
