About LinksLS Has there been any golf game which has made as great an impact as Links? It was one of the pioneers and up to this date it still is pioneering the game through realistic graphics and playability. The realism is just too fantastic. Just try the new powerstroke and you'll know what I mean.  Even in the 2-click and 3-click swings, you will see that its much harder to hit the driver than the wedge. I am not being biased although I have played this since Links386, because I have tried the others too, namely Jack Nicklaus Golf, Microsoft Golf and EA Sports Tiger99 (formerly PGA Tour). Download a demo of Links LS from Access Software and try it out for yourself. Then you will ask yourself (if you have tried out Tiger 99) why the heck does Tiger hit a full swing even on chips.   About Firehead Hello everyone. My real name is John Pineda and I am from the Philippines. I have been playing Links since Links386. I have also played Microsoft Golf (1 until the 98 beta) but it is this game which really amazed me. I thought before how Links 386 can be improved and then came out Links LS. The physics is just incredible. Its just like you are really on the fairway hitting the ball. I started playing real life golf as well and I can say that this game has helped me with course management as well as reading breaks on the green (no kidding!). Hopefully I do get to be as good a golfer as I am a Linkster. (If that happens, I'll be on the PGA Tour :o) ). I must admit though that I play better golf IRL than in powerstroke. I have set up this site to share what I have learned about this game and I think the best contribution that I can give the Links LS community is my hole per hole notes about devil's island. I used to be the  record holder for this course at the LinksLS Hall of Fame but since I released the tips on how to play it, someone broke my record.   It covers how to play each hole as well as what club to use in No Wind/Normal Medium Greens conditions.  What clubs do I use? In real golf, this is how my golf bag looks like, Taylor Made Bubble Ti 10.5 degrees driver Regular Flex shaft , 3W Titleist PT15 (just like what Tiger used to have) Titleist UL shaft Reg-Flex, Callaway Big Bertha WarBird 5W RCH 90-Stiff, Ping Zing KT Steel Shafts, and  Ping Cushin Putter .
