The Llama Files

Llama. Kaworu. Any questions?

Here are some general facts about Llama. Her real name is Marianne, but for some reason, she goes by Llama (we’ll get into that later). She’s seventeen and a high school senior. She was born on July 31, 1984 in Louisiana, but she lives in Mississippi now. She has two brothers and two parents (isn’t that surprising?). Now that the dull stuff is out of the way, here are some interesting facts about the phenomenon known as the Llama.

The FAQ of Llama

(or anything you really needed to know about crazy teenage females).

Besides Neon Genesis Evangelion, what animes do you like?
Llama is a big fan of Slayers, Gunsmith Cats, Ghost in the Shell, Grave of the Fireflies, Sakura Wars and Ranma ˝. She’s definitely watched more than that, but those are the ones that really stand out on her “otaku list”.

What about hobbies? Do you do something besides work on this insane webpage?
Surprise! Llama is an amateur actress. She’s been in theater for ten years and has appeared in almost 50 shows (no joke). Her most favorite role was the Wicked Witch of the West in “OZ!”, where she scared a bunch of little kids into not being able to come near her after the show (also, no joke). She volunteers at a lot of children’s theater day camps (shameless promoting). People apparently think that she's a good actress-she got a theatre scholarship to Loyola University and an "All-Star" Cast Award at MTA 2002. She also sings and plays the piano-including my personal favorite, “Ode to Joy”.

What’s with the Llama thing?
It’s short for Immortal Bloody Llama. Don’t ask. It’s confusing.

Can I hear an “Amen”?
Umm…no.

Cheese?
Only every day.

So she does theatre-anything else?
A little bit of programming from class, and she’s addicted to Neopets-a virtual pet site. If you sign up with the link on the front page (the 90’s Gothic-looking faerie picture), she will be very happy. She loves cats, and her favorite colors are purple and black. Her favorite computer games are the Monkey Island series and the first two Gabriel Knight games (can’t stand the third.) She likes anime role-play, and the main game that she belongs to is in the “Links” section of my shrine. She also does technical work in theatre-her favorite is lights. She enjoys moving sets, though-makes her look strong.
