CONVENIENCE FORM - Proximal Box
The axial wall is prepared with a slight divergence from the adjacent tooth to provide accessibility to the full depth of the proximal box. This wall parallels the DEJ to insure retention grooves are placed within dentin. This also prevents needless encroachment toward the pulpal tissue. |
