| Vol. 16 Summary After the end of this adventure, something new impressive starts, which fights Ushio with his own limits, with this own problems and his fears. Because of Kuragi, a radiation of Hakumen no Mono, who has woken up again in the meantime, Ushio loses a person, he loved very much – the second O-Yakume Mikado Hizaki, who become an old woman meanwhile and gives her life to protect Ushio from Kuragi. Besides it seems like Ushio isn’t the only boy, who walks around with a spear and a monster on his shoulder! Now there is also Kirio…! In this edition 2 new protagonists join the story, the arrival of „old friends“ of Ushio and we are presented at a loss of confidence in himself… It shows several passing through, full of events, even if there is less of a plot than usual. There is a terrible test waiting for Ushio, which is the so called “Test of the thread of the skeleton”. Only this test overcomes him to counter Hakumen no Mono one day. Satoru, in company of Jun, stands by the boy… Meanwhile Kirio has been taken the offensive again. He is sure of his thesis, the Spear of the Beasts is unreliable and because of that he tries to convince many young people of the Kouhamei confession to combine all together and to snatch the Spear away from Ushio. And unfortunately it seems like he succeeded in doing that! A big confusion rules in the temple Kouhamei now…! And what about Tora? Angry and offended because of Ushio’s attitude, he turned away and not met the boy Nagare! Together (or alt least Nagare conviced Tora) they decide to look for Kirio and his mighty demon, Kuin, and they got to the “House of whispering”, a terrible, popular place for expelled monsters, the fruit of the diabolical experiments of a crazy monk… Next |
