| Vol. 5 Summary Ushio meets a very strong enemy. Kyoura, a Buddhist monk, who decided to kill Ushio and wants to prove, that the spear of the beasts is completely ineffective. But his plan is without success… The forces of Mother Nature are, as everyone knows, good and always work for the preservation of the nature in an excellent condition. But sometimes, because of the humans, it doesn’t always work like this. Once in a while the wind can go crazy, very deadly where ever… Jûrô, Raishin and Kagari are the three beasts of the wind – sickle weasels to be more detailed -, creatures which used to be peaceable and accorded with all living creatures, but who are now, because of the humans, who robed them of their habitat and expelled them again and again, “crazy” and uncontrollable. That goes especially Jûrô, who used to be the most peaceable of all, but now is a merciless killer, who murders indiscriminately all human beings, because of all his pain, rage and hatred. Raishin and Kagari are against all the killing, but can’ stop their brother Jûrô, because he became too strong for them in the meantime. That’s why they ask Ushio for help, to kill Jûrô, but Ushio really doesn’t wanna do that and gets almost killed in a fight against Jûrô… |
