ANNAN PIPE BAND: Joe Meehan has been working on the possibility of
bringing Scotland's world-renowed Annan Pipe Band for our Celtic Festival
in 2004. This will require a lot of work so we need to know who will
support the idea. Band members will need to be hosted in people's homes
for a few days before and after the Festival. Would you be willing to host
one or more band members in your home? Also,we need to do some major
fundraising to make this plan a reality. Would you be willing tohelp with
fundraising activities. Please respond to this email--or call Martha at

1) Can host band members in your home
2) Would be willing to serve on a fundraising committee
3) Can suggest any fundraising activities (e.g., car washes, bake
sales,
raffles, etc.)
NEW INFORMATION FOR PARADE: The route has changed for the Fourth of July
Parade. It will be the reverse of previous years--starting at Beaver and
Elm, going down Beaver, and coming up San Francisco, ending at Elm and San
Francisco. We are #20, and will line up on Elm between Leroux and San
Francisco (just listen for bagpipes!). Lineup is at 9:00, Stepoff is at
10:00. Call Kathleen at 779-3817 if you would like to ride in the car
during the parade.

FOURTH OF JULY POTLUCK CEILIDH will be held at the home of Jim Thomson,
right after the Flagstaff parade. Call Jim at 522-8797 or 226-7448 for

DON'T FORGET THE CELTIC HERITAGE SOCIETY MEETING TONIGHT! From 6:00-8:00
at the Adult Center in Thorpe Park. This is the last meeting before the

THE IRISH FOUNDATION MEETING has changed from Wednesday to Thursday. It
will be held on Thursday, July 10. Stay tuned to this list for time and

PAID WORKER NEEDED: Is anyone interested in working at the Aradia
Bookstore booth during the Festival on July 19? This will be the site of
the Diana Gabaldon book signing as well as general sales throughout the day.
