I grew up at Mt. Pleasant. I matured from a shy, immature, short kid, to a more mature, TALLER, young adult. Throughout my experiences in high school, I have become more outgoing and fearless. I am no longer afraid to step out in front of a crowd. I am not as easily embarrassed as before. Many people have mentioned to me that in high school, they have seen me "come out of my shell." It's true...I have. And I have a group of females from Mt. Pleasant High School to thank for that. They took me under their wing and helped mold me into the person I am today. No other group of friends have affected me as much as this group. They became my sisters and I became that lone brother. I didn't mind, because they never hated on me for being the only guy...in fact they always referred to me as "one of the girls." Now that I have graduated from high school, I will take the next step with priceless memories of high school and "my gals." To "the gals," thank you for always being there for me. You gals were always there to listen to me and to support me. You were always there to cheer me on or cheer me up. I could always turn to any of you. I would not be me today without you. You gals complete me. Thank you. And I want to wish all of you best of luck in the future. Don't forget me and don't forget what we've been through together. Don't forget our friendship and please...most importantly...don't forget yourselves and who you are. Take care, I'll always be here for you. -Stan (aka Stan the Man, Stab, A.B.S.) =) |
