| This page was first created around October or November of 2000. Benny, my roommate (at the time) showed me a web page that his friend made that kept track of his friends' birthdays. I thought it was a cool idea. So ta-da! A page was born! This one is quite different from Benny's friends though, because I include heashots, quotes, and ... yeah, it's just cooler. :-) Hehe. Now, there was a lot of controversy at first as to who would be on the page. Originally it was just based on the roster for [BestofUCLA], our mass e-mailing list. But I guess having been established after our freshman year, it was difficult for people to join. So for the longest time, this page stuck by the original plan. But the thing is our group IS much bigger than [BestofUCLA]. We've expanded greatly. So too many people were being left out even though they were tite with everyone. So then I decided to put aside the "requirement" of having to be on [BestofUCLA], and just add people who are pretty close to the group ... people who's birthdays we celebrate as a group. Such a logical answer, and it took me so long to see that. So here we are. The whole gang. Gathered on this page just like we do in real life .... cool! :-P |
