ORIONTH'S HATCHING STORY
This is the story, written by Fallon Stealthblade, of lovely Orionth's hatching on the hot sands at Fallon's Nest! This is the day he was born, and the day he and I - we - -joined forever!
You are slowly ushered onto the warm almost hot surface of the hatching sands. Tendrils of steam waft up from the floor as you strain to see the teetering eggs that are on the steamy sands before you. Luna curls protectivly around her brood and gurgles a pleasant tune as all the onlookers watch the candidates for impression hotfooting on the sands. The cave is soon very silent. Sudenly Luna rises wings spread and alights on a ledge as the steam from the sands fade slowly away. Atlast you can see the three golden toned eggs surrounded by the other white eggs. The Largest of the golden eggs rocks and cracks. The tip of a silver snout pokes slowly therough the shell and finally is followed fluttering dragonet. The silver is a large male that croons and looks toward one of the candidates *I am Orionth! I am Orionth!* The small dragonet screeches into the mind of the candidate that runs to the dragons side and cuddles it in her arms. You look on and wonder if a dragon will pick you next as a Gold and a white break free from thier shells. Soon eggs are cracking and hatching all over as dragonets scream their names to thier chosen riders and the chosen candidates over come with joy kneel on the hot sands in an embrace with thier dragon... That is when you here the voice you ahve been waiting for, the screech of a dragonete in your mind calling to you it's chosen name. You feel incredibly alive. Your mind is clouded with joy and the wonderful sound your YOUR dragons voice. and you realize your life will never be the same and that you will never be alone........
