| History: | 1981 built on 1969 VW. Original owner did excellent job building and maintaining the car. Aztec is in mint shape with only 3700 miles.I bought the car three years ago at auction. In 1981, the engine was gone through. The rings were replaced, heads and valves cleaned and lapped. The bearings and pistons were in good shape. Car has been totally maintained over the years and pan and frame are in excellent condition. In 2002 new carborator and fuel pump were installed. Motor driven headlight raiser was replaced with mechanical unit. Purchased from Jack Boyer in Aug. 2003. |
