I found an incomplete Aztec 7 on a "like
new" VW pan, w/motor and all rebuilt, a year after high school while
in collage. I kept the body and interior package (tan color) and sold the
VW stuff to a buddy of mine who "bugged" me for it every time he
came over. I then started saving for the "Mid-engineering
chassis" with the Olds tornado V8 in the rear! After some time had
passed, the company went out of business and I was fortunate to get my
hands on the company's V6 "demo" chassis with 150 parking lot
miles on it from Kit Car shows. Not the V8 I was saving for, but a nice
drive setup for my Aztec 7. The body was pulled out of "storage"
and the "fitting" began to mate body to chassis. Not completing
the car I move from Dayton Ohio to Cincinnati Ohio to an apartment for six
years and the Aztec 7 went back to storage again! Now in my thirties and
in a home with a two car garage, I can now get back and finish this ride
before I will need a walker! |
