| PLEASE SEE CALENDAR FOR UPCOMING EVENTS - posted October 23, 2008 Camping Opportunity: August 15 - 17 2008 - Patagonia Lake We will meet at the UCC @ 5pm, Friday, August 15th and returning in the afternoon of Sunday, August 17th. Cost is $12.50 for 5 meals and $5.00 for Scouts unaccompanied by a parent. Information/form is under Forms titled Patagonia Campout, print and return with payment by July 31st Troop Meeting. We will work on our Canoeing and Fishing Merit Badge. Scouts 14 and older will need a fishing license. Woodchucks and Wisemen patrols will camp together. Camping eligibility requires payment made 2 weeks prior to actual campout and Troop dues are current. Den Chief Leaders are needed for Cub Scout Pack 321 - Pack 321 meetings begin Sept. 3rd on Wed., 6:30 - 7:30 PM @ Great Expectations Academy on La Canada. Information contact Ronda Dugle 396-3187. A Court of Honor is the time which we celebrate the Scout's achievements among family and friends. We encourage all Scouts and family members to attend this event. While not all Scouts are advancing, and not all Scouts are receiving Merit Badges, it is important that we celebrate those who do. Fall Camporee October 17 - 19 2008 - Willow Springs Review Activities tab. Camp Supplies: With the increase in numbers of Scouts due to Cub bridging, we have run out of camping supplies. If you wish to help support the troop, please visit your local Walmart, and check the Wish List for "Boy Scout" (First Name) "Troop 301" (Last Name). You may also visit www.walmart.com/giftregistry/gr_detail.do?registryId=14111128003 DUES DUES DUES... Please don't forget that dues are $0.50/week, or $25 for the year. These funds help purchase books, awards, and equipment for the troop. Check your status elsewhere on this website for your current total. If you desire to have your dues taken out of your current balance (if you have over $150 in there, it is a good idea), please inform Ronda. Parents.... there are several opportunities for your involvement. We need folks to sign up to be Merit Badge Counselors, and be willing to teach at our weekly meetings for a month or so. |
