HISTORICALLY INCORRECT DEATH OF
ODA NOBUNAGA
IN THE JAPANESE ANIMATION MOVIE GHOSTSWEEPER MIKAMI

In 20th century, Mikami (that typical female
in nearly nothing, of blue color) and her colleagues
can't believe their eyes (and ears).

The ghost of Akechi Mitsuhide suddenly appears
on the ceiling of their office.
Mikami et.al. are ghostbusters, only the anime
makers don't want to use the more precise term.

Akechi told them that the evil spirit of Oda Nobunaga
is here downtown, waiting to get resurrected
(Akechi never watched other anime movies, so he
doesn't know that Oda has been getting resurrection
at least once a week)

Here's The Evil One's tomb.

Of course Mikami opens the place up.

Mori Ranmaru is a venomous spider
guarding the ash-bottle.

Because Mikami screws up, Oda Nobunaga is set free

To live like retired salarypersons in perpetual Hawaii.

"Oda Nobunaga has come back! He is Nosferatu,
King of Vampires!". The one in white is Mori Ranmaru.

Akechi Mitsuhide temporarily moves inside
Mikami's clueless assistant, or rather her regular bait
to lure violent ghosts with.

Oda Nobunaga wants his old Azuchi,
so he takes over Tokyo.

He turns Tokyoites into lethal zombies.

And the tallest skyscrappers in the city
are turned into Azuchi's tower.

Both Mori Ranmaru and Akechi Mitsuhide
were involved in designing the Azuchi tower
in late 1500's, in real history.

Mikami is given Akechi's spear
to kill Oda Nobunaga with.

While, for killing Oda twice,
Akechi Mitsuhide goes to heaven.
I hope he gets no further than Iraq.
