Description:
SPACINGAzura Bennett is a fragile girl before her death and resurrection. She left home at age 13 to pursue her power from life, but returned home unsuccessful. As she arrived home and entered through the front door 3 years later, she found her parents, Orion Errol Bennett and Serafina Dwindle Bennett, dead on the floor. Her younger sister, Cyndil Bennett, was nowhere to be seen. Azura fell to the floor and broke down, until a voice turned her around to a green light, where she then died. Azura was never reunited with her parents in the afterlife, but sent back to Earth, in a mushroom circle in the middle of a clearing in her home forest, as an Arch Angel to fulfill her requirement by the gods, to annihilate the man that killed her parents, Lord Spitfire. She was given a protector, Turinu Zizen, who would watch over her until peace returned, but was unable to make his appearance to her until near the end of the battle.
SPACINGFor five years, Spitfire remained lost to Azura, and she went about her life as anyone else would. She attended school, made friends, and improved her own skills. It became apparrent of when Spitfire would make his return. Azura and her friends started to suffer from seizures, and voices would speak to them, threatening them with dark thoughts that haunted them in their dreams. One day, a better day than usual, Azura had spotted a shadow on her way back to the school and turned and ran into the forest, her friends closely following. They hid behind a tree, looking out for signs of the shadow, while Azura, the coward, cried and grew afraid. They were suprised when a bush behind them began to move around. Azura looked up to a lantern's light, and to a face that she would soon grow to love. The face of Josh Waggoner.
SPACINGAs time passed, Azura and Josh became close and grew to love each other. Spitfire made his return, and a fellow friend that only Azura trusted named Goku, had lead Spitfire right to them. Spitfire once acquired Azura and raped her, also dividing her soul in two, creating a being that lived inside of her that would keep Azura lost, even in her own mind. A project called Zoe. Azura was haunted by her displeasure for Zoe, who set up Azura and made her do awful things. Zoe could appear when ever she pleased, and Azura would have no control, with Zoe drasticly changing the appearance of Azura and controling her body. Azura did become pregnant from Spitfire's rape on her, but thankfully, she miscarried, and the baby itself became a mystery. Through many battles and pain, Josh and Azura found that they could no longer coexist with each other, for Zoe was infatuated with Spitfire, and that made their lives unbearable. Azura's Protector, Turinu Zizen, was responsible for the splitting of Azura and Zoe. James and Azura were running from Spitfire in one of many battles that followed. Spitfire attempted to call out Zoe, but in a blast of light, Turinu blasted down from the sky, and stabbed Azura in the back. From the force of the light, and the reaction Azura being stabbed, Azura was released from Zoe and separated them both into two separate souls, in two separate bodies.
SPACINGEvents followed in the years. Azura fell in love with Josh's brother, James, and they lived quite harmoniously. Azura was visited once by a calmer, more light-guided Spitfire, who showed her that the baby she miscarried was not of his, but Josh's. She also left on a short quest back to her homeland to search for her younger sister, Cyndil. She discovered Cyndil had been pushed out of her home upon Spitfire's arrival by her parents, to save her. She had been raised by ordinary human people, and decided to let herself remain unnoticed, for trying to bring little Cyndil into Azura's world of confusion was not the right thing for her. With these events, Azura was able to calm herself, and discover her power from life. By the genes she carried from her mother, Azura was able to awaken the Wood Sprite within herself, changing her appearance from her red hair to a pale green, and her eyes darkened to a brown from their former blue. Her skin also gave out its color and became quite pale.
Likes: Green tea, toasted marshmallows and bread, and living among the trees in her own Tree Home
Dislikes: Nutmeg, summertime, and hornets.

abcdabcdabcdabcdabcdabcdabcdabcdab
Clothing:
  • Small leather boots that pulls on like socks up to the mid-shin and lace up. Pulling on them tightens them. They are tight, worn like socks, but made of strong leather, so they are light and easy to run around in.
  • Long green skirt worn down to the ankles. Pretty slim, but the bottom is wide enough so running is easy. Tightens around the waist with a pull string.
  • Long brown pants, fairly loose, that can tighten at the ankles. Pull string at the waist.
(All shirts/tops have cuts that are adjusted in the back all the way down, starting at about the shoulder blades to the end of the shirt for her wings to push through.)
  • White tank top tied at the shoulders. Low on the chest with a little cleavage.
  • Long white sleeve peasant top. Is made of two pieces, tied at the waists, shoulders, and arms with several ties. Sleeves go down over the hands and are tight.
  • Strapless black top with mesh sleeves that connect at the underarm and go down over the hands.
  • Purple cloak that fastens and ties at the neck, and reaches to the ankles with a large oversized hood that pulls over the eyes and hides them. Is big enough to go on over her wings.
  • A hooded long ankle jacket lined with rabbit fur and ferret fur on the edge of the hand cuffs and the hood. It closes acrossed the chest in three fastens and is open from the waist down. Has flaps on the back that drape down over her wings to keep them dry. Ideal for wet or long travel rather than the cloak.

Hair Styles
  • Hair is normally worn down, or pulled up in a pony tail with strands in the back hanging down and over her forehead. Sometimes it is ceremoniously worn up in a messy bun, and done into braids and piled up, with strands hanging downon the sides of her head on over her eyes.

Jewelry (Always the same)
  • On her left hand, on the index finger, there is a silver and black banded ring that has the power of silence if her finger is lifted to her lips and she commands it.
  • On her middle finger is an opal ring surrounded by two white diamond crystals. This ring has no power whatsoever, but is just a gift from her mother.
  • Around her neck hangs an amberite crystal that acts as a prism, but is a deep yellow/brown color. It is fairly large, about an inch and a half long and hangs at mid-chest, sometimes hidden in whatever shirt she might be wearing.

Wings, History of

SPACINGHer wings are always on her back, sticking out of her shirts and tops, rising up to the bottom of her ears, and then bending back down at the 1st bone connection to reach her knees. They are white, and full of feathers. When Azura makes a mistake against her order as an Arch Angel, her wings will turn a dark black, and she will be abolished and exiled, completely stripped of her purity and power as an Arch Angel. This happened once when Azura slept with James, but Josh came and forgave her, him also being an Arch Angel, but of higher power, and Azura was forgiven, and her wings were replaced as well as her posistion as an Arch Angel. It is said, that when Azura will be summoned to return to the heavens, her wings will change color to every color of the Forgiven World, each feather a different color, and then she will be taken from the earth.

Azura's Parents; Errol Orion Bennett and Serafina Dwindle Bennett

SPACINGAzura's parents were well known people in the fantasy world, both teachers of the arts of magical acts, loving parents, and trustworthy friends to many. Errol was a Shape Shifter, always running around as different animals, flying as a crow and running around as a black panther. He was envyed by many, for Shape Shifters were rare, and a friendly young man he was at that. Serafina was a popular young lady too, very attractive in her younger years. Serafina belonged to a collective clan of Wood Sprites of 20 or so, and she had the power to make things grow and to turn into plants and live in the souls of trees. Serafina and Errol met when they were young, both 14, at the school they attend, and became close friends for their powers they each owned enabled them to bond almost immediately.
SPACINGOver time, the fantasy world became noticeble to many non-magical people, and was seen as acts of witchcraft and many people of the fantasy world perished. Errol's parents were taken from him by a mob of mortals, to not be seen again, and Serafina's clan was attacked by mortals who surrounded their home forest and burnt it to the ground, killing the souls of the Wood Sprites in the trees, and all her family members. While Errol's family was taken from him, he hid in a hole in a tree as a barn owl, overseeing it all, and Serafina hid in her soul tree, protecting it and keeping the flames away as much as possible. When all was over, Errol and Serafina found each other, both destraught over losing their families and vowed to take some form of venegence against the mortals. Many magical creatures of all sorts had already banned together under the direction of a man of dynamical power, Lord Spitfire. The angry alliance of many forms of destructive magical powers reigned their fury down upon thousands of human lives, destroying all who opposed them for what they were. Through all of this, Errol and Serafina stayed together and were married during this time of liberation.
SPACINGAll appeared to be going well, until Spitfire began on insisting of instead of killing the adults, that the children, the future enemy to the fantasy world, should be what is destroyed, not the adults. Many in the alliance opposed this, and this is where the alliance ended, yet began the Dark Ages of power that was no longer followed, and its wrath that was brought down before its betrayers.
SPACINGErrol and Serafina opposed the slaughter of children, and left the alliance immediately, but Spitfire was sure to watch and track all that left. One by one, the "betrayers" of the allaince were killed, as well as their children, to see that no one, not even those with magical property, would even oppose child slaughtery, again. Errol and Serafina remained hidden in what was left of Azura's home forest, in her soul tree which was converted to a home for them. In the 12 years they remained hidden, they had two daughters, Azura and Cyndil. When Azura turned 13, she left home for her power from life journey, but she would not come home to her family the way she left it. Spitfire found them, and murdered Errol and Serafina, but was unable to find Cyndil or Azura, so for a week, he waited. Azura eventually came home, and this was when Azura was too murdered. The gods decided that Errol and Serafina were not the ones to avenge the murders, but their daughter Azura, to avenge the glory of her family, and the power that was locked inside their next generation. Azura returned to the earth with one purpose: she must kill Lord Spitfire to then be reunited with her parents in the afterlife. Thus, began the long road of tumult, confusion, love, and justice, of Azura Bennett's life.

Wood Sprites, History of
SPACINGThe Wood Sprites started to exist and gather around the agreement of the Pulsewood Doctrine. The agreement is between Humans and Elves that they will not court each other and bear children. Before the Doctrine was created, Humans and Elves did court often, and have children, commonly being half elf, half human. After countless battles of betrayl and broken promises, they decided to avoid each other, and Human-Elf relationships were casted aside. The children of the mixed familes were accepted by neither race because they either had "Too much Human blood in them" or "Not enough Elven pride" to be accepted by the opposing races, so all the children of the mixed familes banded together to call themselves "Wood Sprites". They formed their own clans and took up residence in older abandonned forests. Because of their Elven heritage, they do not die like mortals in the course of time, but are immortal, but because of the Human genes from their other heritage, they can die by the blade or threatening illness.

Pets

  • Azura's tree is always full of life. From frogs hopping around on the mossy floor, to the crickets on the walls in the crevices chirping loudly at night, to the fireflies that make the room a bright bother in the late evening, Azura's home is always teeming with life.
  • Azura befriended an enchanted raven as a child named Norfolk. Errol knew the man that became Norfolk the raven, a former Shape Shifter that grew old and decided to remain a raven till the end of his days. When it came time for Azura to leave home, Errol asked Norfolk to promise to fly overhead and watch her, to make sure she was kept out of danger. Still capable of speech, Azura is still visited today by Norfolk. Sometimes he stops by and chats with Azura, to check up upon her, still feeling bound to his promise that he gave her deceased father.
  • Weadowmark is Azura's red elk, entrusted to her from her mother, as he was her elk when she was younger. Weadowmark was one of several elk that Serafina's clan owned, but as they scattered with the burning of the forest in her childhood, Weadowmark was left behind, fairly young and orphaned like Serafina was. The two remained together, Weadowmark transporting Serafina in her days that she still cared for the forest and tried to regrow it, and also followed her during her time spent with the alliance. He continued to follow her, a loyal companion, until she passed away, and Azura was christened the new forest-keeper. Weadowmark kept to his duties as a role in caring for the forest. He is still loyal to the Bennetts, continuing to aid Azura in whatever duties require her to travel.

Azura's Home
SPACINGSerafina's grandfather, a Wood Sprite, claimed the Surreywood Province for a clan of Wood Sprites after the signing of the Pulsewood Doctrine, outside the city of Surrey. The forest itself, and the trees in it, became the home for the wood sprites until the forst was struck by the human world, and 95% of it was burnt to the ground. The forest remained obsolete to the world, except for a campher tree that remained - Serafina's home tree. When Errol and Serafina fled the direction of Lord Spitfire, they fled back to Surreywood, and tried to pursue their lives living in Serafina's tree. The forest grew back as she became stronger, her first daughter, Azura, taking on the magical properties as a Wood Sprite. When Errol and Serafina died, Azura was left alone in Surreywood to keep care of the forest. She kept the campher tree home as it was, in hopes that someday she would be able to use it as her own, and for her own children.

Azura's Plans; of present day
SPACINGAzura's life has slowed with many of the obstecles from the past now gone. Spitfire has disappeared, without being seen or at least two years now. Zoe has moved on, with her own life now. Josh has been unheard of since the closing of the last Chaos Gate, and James has not been seen since his doings in that act. Azura seemingly has run out of things to do. She plans to make a trip acrossed the mountain to the nearest mortal town, to visit where her parents now rest. It has been nearly seven years since their deaths, and Azura is now entering her first stages of adult life at 20 years of age. She someday wishes to settle down with a man she loves and have children of her own, but with Spitfire somewhere still on the loose, Azura is afraid they will be left alone as she was when she was young, and she doesn't want that to happen. Possibly, with the return to her parents' graves, and some time away from home, Azura will enter the next stage in her life, as an adult.
