| Since I have access to a scanner at school, I've decided to start uploading any TMNT sketches I decide to do. Please take a look and tell me what you think! |
| My First Few Sketches - This is what happens when you get bored in computer science class. I got lost with what the TA was discussing, so I started to doodle. The doodles turned into the TMNT that you see now. I'm actually quite proud of how they came out. As you can see, I've been heavily inspired by the 'toon versions of the turtles, and by Dan Berger's style of drawing them for the daily strip. I haven't attempted any "full bodied" turtles yet, but I'll get to trying sooner or later. Oh, and ignore the strange symbols and letters on the left. I don't know what they mean either, heh heh. Special thanks go to buddies Kali Gargoyle and Machias Banshee for the encouragement, support, and helpful tips they gave me at the Technodrome forums. Thanks, dudettes, for inspiring me to reach for a brass ring that I thought was beyond my grasp =D Donny Delivers A Letter - My first attempt at sketching a full-bodied turtle. He's kinda crooked =( It didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it too, but Rome wasn't built in a day. I think it's decent enough for someone who used to draw stick figures. Raph In Color - A little experiment I did with colored pencils and ink. I thought the ink was too thick. Oh well. I just wanted to see what one of my sketches would look like in color. Leo Addresses The Troops - This sketch was originally supposed to be Donny holding his staff, but it turned into Leo instead. I don't know why *shrugs* I like how it came out, though. Colored pencils were used. Raph Gets Grounded - This was inspired after reading some comments from Loolaa at the Technodrome about my fic, One Fateful Day. She said that Raph was always being mean to me, so I thought I'd do a sketch where I got some revenge (with some help from Master Splinter, of course). Mikey Makes A New Friend - I don't know why I sketched this, but I think it's pretty funny. Revenge of the Glomp - Ever since my good friend Kali made those pics of her glomping me, I've been itching to return the favor. So here it is, in SD form. I think I got a little carried away, though... |
