My X-Men |
Note: All of the images below were created using HeroMachine version 1. This very cool program was first introduced to me by Sango-Chan over at Mikey's forums. I've been having a blast with it since. This is probably the greatest invention for someone like me, since I can't draw worth squat. HeroMachine lets users create heroes using thousands of different clothes, accessories, weapons, etc. All of the superheroes I've always imagined can finally come to life with very little drawing on my part. I made all of the heroes below, but please note that I edited all of them (EXCEPT for Shadow) using Microsoft Paint and Adobe Photoshop. The only thing I added were the X-Men logos. I hope you like them. =) |
This is Shadow, the first X-Man I ever imagined. I'm currently RPing as him over at the Under Manhattan RPG forum. I haven't bothered putting up his profile yet. I may do that for the next update. Abilities: Telekinesis, and "Shadow Walking." He can turn himself into a living, breathing shadow with just a mere thought. |

This is Zap, the second X-Man I created. She's currently in limbo at the Technodrome RPG forum. I haven't thought of a place for her yet. Abilities: She can create powerful bolts of electricity. Zap can also change the shape of the bolts, forming them into animals and other things. She particularly likes summoning a thunder dragon. |
This is Mirage, named after a favorite comic company of mine (TMNT fans should get the hint). I like how this guy looks, and I'm quite happy with the belt buckle I made for him using Microsoft Paint. =) Abilities: Telepathy. But that's not how he got his codename. Mirage can create illusions to confuse his enemies. His favorite attack is to discover the darkest fear of his foes, and use that to create a terrifying illusion. |
Meet Renegade, a very sassy and street smart mutant. Her design was somewhat inspired by the famous videogame vixen, Laura Croft. Abilites: Renegade can "tap" into other mutants' powers, but those mutants must be nearby. For example, if she "tapped" into Zap's powers, then Renegade would be able to wield electricity. However, her attacks would be nowhere near as powerful as Zap's. Renegade must also learn how to control other mutants' powers before she can effectively use them. |
Say hello to Pryde. I'm very pleased with this character design. To put it bluntly, I think it kicks butt. He's mutant in more ways than one. Pryde is a mutant lion who has trained in various martial arts while living in Japan. Abilities: His strength, quickness, agility and senses (sight, hearing, smell) are all enhanced. Pryde also has a healing factor, similar to Wolverine's and Sabertooth's. |
Here's Titan, a massive mutant whose skin has become very impenetrable. He's a former pro-wrestler from the great state of Texas. Abilities: Strength, toughness, and a thick layer of skin. Titan's mutant powers came to him during his twenties, which is rather late. Most mutants discover their powers during their teen years. His skin is almost as strong as adamantium. |
And finally, there's Comet. A shy and quiet girl who is the youngest member of my X-Men team. Abilities: Comet can create green bolts of explosive energy. Whenever she hurls them at enemies, a blue ring forms around the green fireball, hence the codename of Comet. These bolts of energy can very from the size of a pearl (which is so weak that it feels like someone poked you) to the size of a basketball (which can level buildings). |

I've been toying around with an idea for a fanfic involving all of my created heroes above. If anything does come up, you'll see it in the fanfiction section. =) |
