| Dec. 31 Ok ok!! This is the biggest problem that people are facing. They exit the desert area through the gear and cant get back in because the gear isn't turning and the pulley is still down. Here is how to fix that. You have to activate the earth tower. First, go down the other pulley and kill off all the enemies to get all the keys. Then go back to the bottom of the spiral path. ((NOTE- IF YOU LEFT THE DESERT AREA WITH THE PULLEY STILL DOWN AND DID NOT TURN ON THE CONVEYER BELT, RESTART THE GAME, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTINUE. IT'S A GLITCH IN THE GAME.)) Now, use a drill key in the drill at the bottom of the spiral path. Go in on the conveyer belt at the end of the path and ride it to the platform. Cross the Pipe and climb down the ladder and grab the key. Keep climbing down to the bottom. When you reach ground level, turn around and go back the path a little ways to find another key. (This is, from the entrance here, down the river and on the first path to the left, if you want this key first.) Exit this area and go to the waterfall. Go in the passageway left of it. Go down the river and up the ice tunnel past the 2 fire walls and grab the key next to the wall. Now, if you have the earth tower raised already, read part 2. If you don't, read part one AND two. 1) Turn around and ride the mine cart / pulley thing to the river. Jump down and go to the big building in the middle. There is a key inside. Look for the keyhole in the area. Use it and head up the earth tower. (note- if you Don't have the miner cart/ pulley thing activated, the keys are by the machine around it somewhere. 2) Go to the top of the earth tower and plug in the keys. You can now go in the lower gear back into the desert area. Make sure you ride the pulley out this time....*sigh* |
| Dec 31. emailed to me : how do I beat the water guardian?...this thing isn't working, i tried everything...what do I do?. Well, first of all, the tentacles have to be beaten 3 times each. This means, freeze then melt, freeze then melt, freeze then melt. Use Ice then Steam to do this. Ice = Earth + Air + Water Steam = Fire + Water If you don't hit it on the first swipe, it will probably unfreeze. Hit with the steam WHILE it is frozen. Be fast. Be merciless. KILL HER!!! |

| January 3rd. I forgot to mention a part in the walkthrough. At the bottom of the tower when you get the key underground in the center of the tower, you to EXIT the platform and go find the switch with lots of enemies around it, acitvate it, THEN go back onto the platform and ride up. Sorry guys... |
| Hello there...i found your walkthrough to be helpful BUT there is one thing you need to fix so others won't waste time trying it (like we did). There is a section where you talk about turning on the lava valves to get the next air power and then you used GOD MODE to get around it...well, you arent' supposed to get around the lava flow. You need to turn the valve on to get your air power, turn it off and LEAVE it off...then go back and make the jump across the lava, triple jump the gap, go past the bridge, make the double jump and turn on the other valve then get onto the moving platform and into the tunnel, turn on the switch (you only hear a gurgling sound) then you go back to where you turned on the valve that dropped your air power out, and because you've now diverted the flow with the switch, it turns on the air chute that propels you to the top of the world. Tedious I know, but we've always been firm believers in the theory that if you need GOD MODE to do it, it wasn't supposed to be done that way. Just a theory. |
