Welcome
to the March issue. Once again we faced a few technical problems. In the event
we decided to go for the PDF format, since line and character distortions are
minimised in this format. As most of you know PDF is a widely used format, though it takes a bit more time than normal to see it on the screen. So please be patient if you use a modem. If you are on a LAN or a Broad-band system this process is very fast. Given
the IT talents of the Telugus, PDF format shouldn’t be a major problem. Perhaps you might have noticed character and line distortions in several other Telugu sites and hopefully we are now free from these problems in Patrika.
Due
to time limitations we have included three stories and an essay only. The three
stories are by well known writers: Sri Kalipatnam Rama Rao (Shanthi), Smt.
Jayaprabha (Rasajhuri Yogam) and Smt. P. Satyavathi (Devudu). Shanthi is a long story of 35 pages. The
essay, by Sri Hanumadhchastri, is on
Brown Dora’s well known dictionaries.
