Ranks of the Narn Regime | ||||
The Kah'ri The ruling body of the Narn Regime, the Kah'ri is comprised of three circles, each with its own area of command. The First Circle is the chief body, making all important policy decisions and determining the course of the Narn Regime. The Second Circle is charged with command over the Narn Imperial Fleet and all ground formations across Narn space. The Third Circle is charged with directing the Ambassadorial Office and ensuring that the ambitions of the Narn Regime are served abroad. Dar'Sol ( Warleader ) The highest military rank in the Narn Regime, the Dar'Sols command the massive Imperial battlefleets that patrol Narn space and combat the Regime's enemies. The Dar'Sols command massive authority in the field, being able to issue orders to planetary governors and act with a degree of autonomy of the Kah'ri. Only the most trusted commanders make it to the rank of Dar'Sol. Dar'Jareth ( War Captain ) Like the Generals of the Earth Alliance, the Dar'Jareths command much authority, second only to the Dar'Sols in command. While not empowered to set down campaign policy, the Dar'Jareths are given broad authority when acting in the defense of a system. Dar'Goroth ( War Hunter ) Close to the Earth Alliance rank of Captain, only with authority over more than one ship. The Dar'Goroths often are charged with defense of an entire star system using a small battlegroup, or can be found in charge of small attacks against enemy targets on the edge of Narn space. Dar'Kan ( War Commander ) Equivalent to the rank of Lieutenant Commander or Commander in the Earth Alliance, the rank of Dar'Kan conveys with it a moderate ammount of authority and is the first sign of trust from the Kah'ri in an individual. Dar'Kans are often found in command of minor squadrons of vessels or in the shadow of more accomplished commanders. |
