	Length: Shields: Jump Engines: Armament: Onboard Craft: Garrison:		80 meters None Yes None 24 Zephyr 109 Starfighters None			Constructed by the Raiders to serve as a jump platform for the smaller Zephyr 109 Starfighters, the Raider Carrier is one of the simplest and also one of the smallest jump-capable vessels to be seen on the field of battle. Comprising a single thrust engine and jump engine assembly with an outer docking ring to carry the smaller fighters, the Raider Carrier is simple to construct and maintain. The only problem is the total lack of guns and hideously small size which makes the vessel worse than useless in a fight with an enemy warship of any size. Despite this, however, several of the Free Worlds have been successful in using Raider Carriers to attack lightly defended convoys and attack soft targets before more dedicated vessels could move in to complete the strike.
