	Length: Shields: Jump Engines: Armament: F v F Rating:		16.00 meters No No 2 Light Flak Cannons 2			Formerly used by the Belt Alliance Colonial Defense Force in the Orion System, the Zephyr 109 Starfighter was meant to act as a deterrant against pirate and Raider vessels. However, the fighter was soon adopted by the very powers it was being deployed against.      Versitile, light and cheap to produce, the Zephyr 109 is often deployed in massive numbers against a weaker opponent. However, when faced against a modern force of Starfighter or Capital Ships, these fighters have proven to be less than effective forces. Able to be destroyed with one solid hit to either of the wing fuel tanks, the Zephyr 109 falls quickly to Starfighters from the other major governments, relegating it to use in systems outside of the control of these larger governments.
