Counselling: We provide individual, couple and family counselling in a confidential and professional setting. We pride ourselves on being compassionate and practical in our collaborations with clients. Issues that are commonly addressed include depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, fear, phobia, parenting, anger, grief, panic, abuse, loss, career, sexuality, marital conflict, mental disorder and self-esteem. Assessment: We specialize in providing psychological assessments. The following options are available: (1) diagnosing learning disabilities in young adults in college or university; (2) providing psychoeducational assessments for adolescents in junior and high schools; (3) identifying ADHD in adolescents and adults; and (4) conducting aptitude and vocational assessments. Diagnosis: Many clients give written permission to correspond with family physicians. To better facilitate communication among health service providers, a diagnosis can be provided as part of the counselling process. If a client wishes to be informed of the diagnosis, inquiries are welcome. Fees: Psychological services are covered by most extended health insurance plans. Contact yours to determine the extent of your coverage. To encourage accessibility, our fee is maintained lower than the recommendation of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta.
