"The Journey of My Soul" |
| I wander in the world of spirits. |
| Filled with confusion, |
| I touch my soul |
| and yours. |
| I touch the dust |
| And the sun. |
| In the sea, I was a drop of water. |
| The kind sun took my hand |
| and helped me rise |
| in the dry, sad sky |
| that was only an inverse sea. |
| A tipsy, wandering wind |
| in an auspicious, fortunate accident |
| Put your hand in my hand |
| and gave our hands to the others' |
| we made a beautiful, |
white, |
cottony cloud, |
| and we wandered again. |
Then, the rain was born |
| when you and I, |
freer than ever, |
| with our hands unchained, |
loose, |
| Joined together in the cold of the night. |
We fell on the earth |
on thirsty deserts, |
| desolate lands, |
| yellow prairies, |
| high mountains and small hills, |
| And our bodies |
| in their unification, |
| Became a watery mirror |
| on which the night stars |
| smiled happily. |
It was then |
| when you and I joined the river |
| and with the river joined the sea, |
| The sea, our first rising place, |
| The sea that was embraced by the earth, |
| The earth that was wet with the rain, |
| The rain that became the mirror of the stars, |
| The stars that smiled, |
| The smile that sat on our lips, |
| Those lips that spelled a cry |
| and a kiss, |
| The cry that conquered the world, |
| The kiss that tamed the heart. |
| In an endless journey, |
| I start from myself |
| and I reach you. |
| I escape you, |
| and I return to myself. |
| I give you my soul, |
| and life begins! |
