We are in are middle 30's with two children. None of our friends are "boat people" so we are having a hard time getting people together on our boat or meeting others with similar interests as ours. My husband and I want to become involved with a club that shares are love for the water and power boats. Any advice would be helpful.

I just stumbled onto your site and I found it very interesting. My husband and I are planning on moving to San Diego next Summer and we are planning on buying a boat, but neither of us have much experience boating.
My husband wants a boat large enough for offshore fishing (i.e. Albacore, Dorado, Yellowtail, Yellowfin, etc.) and I want a boat small enough for riding and waterskiing in Mission Bay and lakes (plus one small enough to trailer to other areas, possibly Ba
a and Arizona).
I don't know if there are boats that can fit both our needs, so any information you can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
