6:30am, my brother and I were scoping out a new camp site. I thought over by those rocks looked like a good place to camp. My brother told me not to drive through the river. Did I listen.........NO!! I figured it didn't look any worse than the creek crossing at Pismo.
Okay, so the river crossing isn't quite like the one at Pismo!
My brother walked around the lake to get his truck so he could winch me out!
Note: In the left picture, see the white spec above my tool box on the beach across the lake. That's my brother's truck!
After Tracks!
We did eventually make it over to that camp spot I found,
but went the long way around, through the trees.
We drove the back roads to Bowman Lake. Here is a nice view.
