This page is dedicated to, and in loving memory of Debra Lynn Kirsch.

I met Debra in 1984 when I moved to Illinois from Wisconsin. We started 6th grade and continued our schooling together untill 9th grade when I moved to Texas. In thoes four years we grew to be very good friends. We were there for one another whenever there were school, or  boy/girlfriend problems. It seemed we could talk about anything with one another. Deb was the kind of girl that everyone knew and loved. Her outlook, and attitude were hard to resist. I especially admired her for her ability to befriend anyone. I never really fit into the popular "click" in school, and despite what some people would say, she still liked me for me. Not for where I lived, what I wore to school, or how many touchdowns I made, but for who I was on the inside.    Below you will find a star constellation commonly known as "The Big Dipper".   Deena, Debs sister told me a story about how they had both "claimed" a star for themselves, she had chosen Alkad, the last star on the tip of the handle. The red rose is here as it was her favorite flower.
