FUTURE PLANS: I have been flying since I was 14 and I had hoped to enter flying as a career. This plan was put on hold when I learned that my eyes are just on the limit of the Transport Canada requirements. Laser surgery is possible, but I have to wait until I'm in my mid 20's. So I am at this state, undecided. I might choose to follow through in law and justice or a related field.
I have always liked to meet people and experience new things. This is mainly why I have been attracted to traveling. My advice to anybody in high school is to see what programs are out there for exchanges internationally. Being an exchange student was one of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of my life. It is an experience of a lifetime I will never forget. I met some amazing people from around the globe and even began to learn another language (Japanese). At the end of it all, I realized that saying good-bye wasn't an ending at all. My year away from home was a foundation for the future- one that I will look back upon for the rest of life's journey!
