Interview:
Owen Haubert

Haubert walks out to boos.  Owen grabs a mic.  “Well, as all of you can see, I am now the two time SFWF World Champion.  What this means to each and every one of you is this… you are in the presence of greatness.  In fact, let me go over my accomplishments for all of you.”  The crowd boos some more, until Corey Vilhauer and Stepdaddy walk out.  Owen turns around and stares at them.  Vilhauer grabs another mic.  “Owen, lets go over the circumstances of the World Title match this past Thursday.  Owen, you and Stepdaddy were in the ring… mayhem ensued, and Ian Haubert, dressed in a mask and a referee’s outfit, ran out to count your pin.  Do you know what is wrong with this?  MANKID WAS THE REFEREE… NOT IAN.  Therefore, any decision Ian Haubert made was not the referee’s decision.  But on the other hand… you did pin Stepdaddy.  So I have no choice but to strip the belt from you Owen.”  Haubert looks around as the crowd cheers.  Haubert grabs the belt off of his waist and throws it outside the ring.  “You want your damn belt, there it is… but everyone will remember that I was the champ…”  “Yes, Owen, maybe everyone will.  A new champion will be crowned, nonetheless, at SFWF King Of the Ring five weeks from now on March 16th.  There will be a 15-man tournament, culminating at the PayPerView.  The winner of this tournament will not only be the 2000 SFWF King of the Ring… they will also be the SFWF Heavyweight World Champ.  The brackets have been set up… (see graphic below).  Tonight we will see three first round matches.  Ian Haubert vs. ManKid, Jim Peterson vs. Ryan Swanson, and myself vs. Cody Schlenker.  On top of this, we will see Comfy and Cozy defend the Tag Belts against the Tall Boys, and Megan Meyer will defend her Women’s title vs. Breezy Bryant.  So… let the tournament start.”  Vilhauer and Stepdaddy walk off as Owen flips them off and climbs out of the ring.
