Interview:
Eric Swanson

Eric Swanson walks out with a mic and some papers.  Boos are heard throughout the building.  Swanson unfolds the papers and begins to talk.  “The SFWF has forever been about bringing the great people of Sioux Falls a great wrestling show, made by and for the people of Sioux Falls.  I could stand up here and list off the greats in this league, the ones who have held the gold on many occasions, and each and every one of them has roots somewhere in Sioux Falls.  Corey Vilhauer, Jim Peterson, The Hauberts, Stepdaddy, and even me.  All of us live in Sioux Falls, are from Sioux Falls, have accepted Sioux Falls as their own.”  The crowd cheers a little.  “Which brings us to Ray Kimal.  Mr. Kimal was brought into this league without my permission; brought in as a body guard to Corey Vilhauer.”  Cheers erupt from the corners of the Sioux Falls Arena.  “Ray Kimal is not from Sioux Falls.  Kimal does not call Sioux Falls his home.  Kimal has never even BEEN TO SIOUX FALLS.  And I have papers here to show it.  As we all know, transcripts are made of every SFWF wrestler’s nationally televised interview.  We keep these interviews for the fans.  I am holding an interview Mr. Ray Kimal gave to Entertainment Tonight.  In this interview, Ray states that he has NEVER SET FOOT IN SIOUX FALLS, AND THAT HE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO GET THERE.  And still you worthless fans cheer for him.  And still you goddamned fans cheer for a man who is not even part of this great city.  And still…”  Swanson is interrupted by the sounds of Vilhauer’s music.  The crowd stands up and begins to cheer.  Vilhauer walks out with Ray Kimal.  “Eric, all of what you are saying is not important.  The simple fact is that we can’t expect to have a great league and stay within the confines of Sioux Falls for the rest of our lives.  In order for this organization to grow, we need to branch out.  Now, what you did last week to Ray makes me sick.  And you will pay.  You will pay with your spot in this King of the Ring championship tournament.”  The crowd goes nuts as Eric Swanson looks flabbergasted.  “WHAT?!  You can’t just take away my spot in the tournament!”  “Yes, actually, I can’t.  But you will choose the person who will.  Tonight, you will choose my opponent.  In tonight’s main event, the person you choose will face me in a fight for your tournament spot.  If I win, you lose your spot.  If my opponent wins, you will carry on.  Of course, you have another obstacle tonight as well.  If you can’t beat Ray Kimal tonight in your first round match, you won’t even have to worry about fighting for your tournament chances, and the opponent you pick for me will be fighting in vain.”  Vilhauer throws the mic at Swanson and he and Kimal walk off.

Mary Campbell vs. Heather Curtis

Campbell begins this match with a dropkick to Curtis’ head.  Curtis staggers backward into the ropes, where she is caught up.  Campbell runs to the outside and snaps Curtis out.  Curtis falls backward and onto the ring apron.  Campbell grabs Curtis, pulls her out of the ring, and suplexes her onto the concrete.  Curtis slowly gets up, but is stomped back down by Campbell.  Campbell climbs back in the ring and climbs the turnbuckle.  Curtis gets up slowly, and Campbell launches herself off.  Curtis snaps out of her funk and grabs Campbell on her way down, bringing her around and slamming her down on the concrete.  Campbell grabs her back in pain as Curtis climbs the turnbuckle.  From the crowd, Beka Reiser jumps out and hops in the ring.  Reiser grabs Curtis and slams her down with a belly to back from the turnbuckle.  This brings Bianka Groves out, who is followed by Breezy Bryant.  It’s a two on two melee as all four women brawl inside the ring.  The ref calls for the bell.  Campbell gets up and walks backward to the ramp, watching the match.  From behind, Megan Meyer runs out and grabs Campbell, throwing her in the ring.  The six women brawl as security runs out to stop the fight.
