THINGS YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO IN THE DESERT...
YOU CAN'T...
1) Walk on pavement barefoot (unless you like burnt feet)
2) Leave M&M's in your car (they melt in your car, not in your hands)
3) Forget to wear your sunscreen (or you'll turn up red real quick)
4) Stand in the sun with an ice cream cone (cause you can't lick faster than that sucker will drip)
YOU CAN...
1) Grow vegetables most of the year round (just a couple of months it isn't gonna work)
2) Leave the dogs water bowl outside (without worrying it's gonna freeze)
3) Wear shorts about 300 days out of the year (if your legs look decent)
4) Look at an Indian leaning on the wall in front of a store (and not think your're crazy if he looks back)
5) Make a mint selling cosmetics to all those retired old ladies who are trying hard to cover up wrinkles (cause they never used sunscreen)
6) Retire early...Uhh I forgot, thats what everyone is here for isn't it? (heh heh heh...except for the ones trying to make a mint off the retired old ladies, or the ones who sort of ended up here and don't have any inclination to leave)
7) Dry your hair without a blow dryer (just stand outside for a few minutes)
8) Lie and tell your family out East you moved here for your health (just don't tell em what you mean is they were driving you nuts)
