| Hi, my name is Bethany and I absolutely LOVE Ballet!!!! I have been in the Nutcracker, Swan Lake and excerpts from Sleeping Beauty! In the Nutcracker I was the Toy Soldier, a Snow Flake, Chinese and the Flower Queen. In Swan Lake I was a Swan and I was one of the 4 swans, I was also a part of the dance Czardas about a year ago, and in Sleeping Beauty I was the Bluebird and I was the Fairy of Prosperity. I was also in Verdi's the four seasons, we did Autumn. I also teach classes at my dance studio!! I love it!! It is sooo much fun because I am doing something I love to do. I currently attend High School and I am part of the North Carolina State Ballet. I have taken dance for about 8 years now and LOVE it!! This summer I attended North Carolina School of the Arts for a 5 week program and trained with teachers from New York City Ballet, ABT, Kirov Ballet, Moscow Ballet and many more. Some of my other interest besides ballet is swimming. I wasn't on a swim team, but I took several swimming classes and eventually began to love it. So, I swim whenever I have a chance. Also in my spare time I like to go see a movie or rent one if I have the time. My favorite color is pink and blue (of course). I have visited many places including: Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. They were all beautiful to see!! I can speak some french and just a little bit of German. Well, that about sums it up for the facts about moi (me). =) |
