Fairly mindless commentary on Episodes 38 and 39
If you are a fan of SKU (and you most certainly are, I mean, you're here, aren't you?), then you've probably watched the last two episodes several times.
Okay, maybe I'm just obsessive, but
I have watched them several times.  Not even several.  More like eight.
And, after watching these episodes so many times, I have developed several opinions.  Okay, not
several.  More like...  Uh, nevermind.  Just read them yourself.
"Once Again, the sword fails."--Akio
He's surprised that the sword broke?  I mean, c'mon!  Did you see the way he was smacking it around on that door?  It was like he wanted to break it!  I'm sorry, but that is not the way to go about opening a stone door.  My opinion is, if he wanted to get inside, he should have started by cutting those rose vines off the door.  After that, your guess is as good as mine.
"Foolish Lifeform."--Akio
I don't remember what this is in reference to, but it's something Utena said.  I personally take this as positive proof that Akio and Anthy are <cue ominous music> not of this world (or maybe it's just proof of oddly translated fansubs).  Actually, it makes it sound more like they're gods or angels, or something; since technically aliens are lifeforms, too.  These are especially interesting when you consider Akio's habitual stargazing.
"...my meddlesome hero."--Anthy
Or is it "prince"?  I forgot.  Yeah, yeah.  I'm not stupid.  I understand what she means.  But still, aren't all heros meddlesome?  Isn't that partially what makes them heros?--the fact that they stick their noses into situations that most likely do not and should not involve them, in order to help people who they may not even know?  I think that that's basically one of the more prominent qualities of heroes.

The Mystery of the Projector
Did anyone else notice that when the swords came after Utena, they smashed through the projector (and, uh, everything else), competely destroying it?  And then after that, it's shown again in Akio's tower.  Does he have extras on hand, or what?
