| Which I do. Yes, I do, in fact, believe that Anthy is evil. Like her darling brother. I periodically attempt to finish a fanfic I started documenting all of her evil plans. My muses generally desert me around those times. Perhaps this is a gentle hint from a higher power that Anthy Is Not Evil. Maybe I'm just not good at writing fanfiction. We'll never know, now, will we? But until we do know for a fact, I have one more thing that points to Anthy being evil... Or just hungry for the sweet taste of human flesh. <shrug> |

| I'm sure that almost everyone has seen this picture. I happen to have scanned it from my own "Utena art collection" book, and YES, I did a pretty bad job doing so. Anyhow, when you first see it, it looks pretty innocent... If a little bit gross ( I mean, where have those feet BEEN, anyway?! They didn't call that episode "The bare foot girl" for NOTHING.) |

| Let's take a look at Utena, first, all right? Note that she is actually kissing Anthy's foot. A respectful (if not worshipful) gesture... IMHO, it says something to the effect of "I like you JUST the way you are, Himemiya!" We don't need this picture to be as large, because it's pretty easy to see all it has to offer at this lovely and compact little size. |
| However, when we enlarge the picture with Anthy, we see that she is not in fact kissing Utena's foot. She is, rather, biting it. That's probably not a good thing. Again, IMO, this says "I want to consume you, Utena. You are mine and mine alone," or something similar. Of course, I couldn't really be sure, since I have had no psychiatric training of any sort, so it's just an opinion. ^.^ This picture now frightens me... I am, I also suppose, the only person on Earth who didn't notice this immediately anyway... |
