The Imperial Military Acadamy of Baraster
Military Academy Treasury - 700 GP
Emperor Daniel Gilnea started the Academy and brought in men and cadets from all reaches of Athair. Not only was it one of the most intense academies in the realm but the military strategies and weaponary were some of the best known to man. The mounted troop rode on horses bread in the region and the assassins, men who's distant ancestors once tries to conquer the world, controlled a specialized group known as the Nar Batharal. Upon entering the praetors office, a well organized, somewhat anal-retentive officer, hands you an enrollment application and leers at you over his spectacles. Pictures of all the Generals, Black Knights, and Dragoons line the wall. A world map fills the opposite wall marked with pegs showing where the allies and enemies have their troops. This is where you will find out all you need to know about becoming a member of one of the most powerful armies to ever exsist. The Academy charges 250 gold per month for each cadet enrolled in it. There is also a one time fee for each enrollee for his armor, weapons and room and board. It is up to the enrollee to petition his Noble to put up the 250 per month from the treasury of the province where he/she resides. The province of Montereron will tax 20% of the academy's monthly earnings. The rest goes into the Academy's treasury to be decided upon its use by the faculty. |
