National Park site.  Read the page and answer the questions on the Lesson One Record. Listen to baby gators.  Click on each 8 bit.
Lesson 1:

Read All About Alligators by Jim Arnosky.  Study the pictures on  pages 8,9,10,11,19. Answer the questions on the LessonTwo Record.
Lesson 2:
All About Alligators

Go to Enchanted Learning and click on project #2.  Follow the directions to make an alligator card using green paper.  Make a alligator cartoon.

Go to this baby alligator site.  Look at the pictures and then find out the seven predators of baby gators.  This is the answer to question 1.

Encarta site.  Click on the second little alligator box at the top of the page.  Listen.Click on the third box and read.  Answer  questions 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 on the Lesson Five Record.

Check out the
Everglades National Park site about gator holes.  Go to the  Lesson Four Record and write a paragragh  of 5 to 7 sentences explaining what  gator holes are and how they  help other animals.
Lesson 5: Baby Alligators

Go to this
Geocities site about the American alligator.  Read the facts.  Study the information about alligator bodies in the anatomy section.  Answer the questions on the Lesson Six Record.
Lesson  6:
Alligator Teeth
Go to the Gatorland site and click the 2nd picture in the middle of the page called LEARN.  Pick Gatorland Gator Quiz.  Take the quiz at least two times.  Write down two new facts you learned about alligators on the Lesson Seven Record.  Visit EXPLORE and  BE AMAZED.  Answer the questions on Lesson Seven Record.

Exploring a Web Site

Go over all the information you have learned about alligators in so far.  Pick one or two facts from each lesson.  Write them neatly on the inside of the alligator card you made in Lessson Two.

Write a summary of one of these topics on Lesson Eight Record:

Cover Sheet
Make a cover sheet for your project on the computer.  List the title, your name, the date, and my name.  Go to any of the sites we have visited so far and select  one to three pictures of alligators to include on your cover sheet.  Staple all of your lesson records together in order with the cover sheet on top.
