How to Make Ice Cream in a Bag
What you need:

4 cups crushed ice
1/2 cup rock salt
1 quart-size zip-close bag
1 sandwich-size zip-close bag
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
scissors, small bowls, spoons

What to do:

1. Put 2 cups of crushed ice and 1/4 cup of rock salt into the quart-size zip-close bag. Pour the milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla into the sandwich-size bag. Seal this bag tightly.

2. Place the smaller bag inside the larger bag. Gently squeeze out the air and seal it carefully. Continue squeezing it gently for about 5 minutes.

3. Drain the water from the larger bag, and add the remaining ice and salt. Seal and squeeze until the mixture is very thick.

4. Remove the small bag from the ice and dry the outside of the bag. With scissors, cut one of the bottom corners off the small bag and squeeze the contents into small bowls. It will be a soft serve consistency.  Enjoy!

What you need:

12-inch plastic plant drainage pan
small bag of cement
14-inch square hardward cloth, cut into a circle the size of the pan.

What to do:

1. Mix cement as directed with water.  A small bag will make up to nine stones.

2.Fill drain pan half full of cement.
Smooth top; shake and tap pan to level the mixture.

3. Select leaves to press lightly onto the surface for an imprint..  (Optional:  Press stones, marbles, handprints etc. instead of leaves. Press stones and marbles in deep enough to be fairly level with the suface, as this will be the walking area.))

4. Cover pan with plastic wrap, and then cover with sand to hold the leaves in place.

5. Dry for 24 hours , then pick off leaves . then dry 3 or 4 days more.

6. Pop out of drainage pan and then dry another 3 weeks before using.
