Dixie Webster-Davis, Casting Director
Dixie Webster-Davis began her career in the entertainment industry as a talent agent working in Denver, Colorado. She was the founder of Colorado's first and only full service casting agency that provides principal casting for national commercials, television, film, and voiceovers. After spending three years on location casting feature films, she arrived in California. Her move to Los Angeles in 1989 resulted in the created of The Casting Group and Webster-Kolich & Co. Casting. Most recently she joined forces with prominent casting director, Tammy L. Smith, to form Smith & Webster-Davis Casting. Today, they are established as two of the premiere extras casting directors in the industry.

Dixie brings her expertise and production savvy to every casting job. With nearly 20 years of experience, she is nationally recognized for her ability to tap into a director's vision and tell a story with faces. Having worked with Academy Award winning producers, directors, and actors, she is regarded as one of the top extras casting directors in Los Angeles.
Tammy L. Smith, Casting Director
Regarded as one of the best in Los Angles, Tammy Smith began her career on location in Saratoga, New York. Having completed bachelors degrees in both Theater and Communications in 1990, an opportunity came to her as an intern for Bill Dance Casting on the film "Billy Bathgate." Under the umbrella of Bill Dance, himself, she joined BDC first as an assistant, but was soon casting a variety of film and television projects of her own. After four years of preparation, she felt more than ready to branch off as an independent casting director. Her break came in 1994 when she was solicited to go out on her own with the full-scale production, "Waterworld." Her instinct to make this move proved very successful in the next five years, casting back-to-back feature films.

In 1999, her one-on-one approach to casting led to a partnership with highly respected casting director, Dixie Webster-Davis. She sums up her relationship with Dixie by stating, "We both have the same philosophy and our personalities are a perfect combination for accomplishing our job." Tammy's dedication and commitment to the profession contributes to her ability to provide producers and directors with the talent they need. She maintains her reputation in the industry for making a difference in the creative approach she brings to each project, and is recognized for the level of quality in her work.
