Enlivened dark
beyond bus windows
holds my ghostly
face,
travelling
alongside.
I watch the world
love me tonight,
my hot thoughts,
lusting eyes
as light
catches
everything.
I walk only
flooding streets
rapt by reflections
in footpaths
which dare not
show themselves in
Sun.
Car wheels hiss
wetness,
streets become
mirrors
as light
catches
everything.
I've danced across
skies
for nights like
this.
Many shining
streets
I've tore down
alone but for
fear, love,
headlights in
puddles.
Melbourne - London
- Venice
now back,
light
catches
everything.
