| We recognized Stedman's outstanding qualities as a puppy. He quickly exceeded our wildest dreams as he matured. Stedman finished his Championship at just 11 months old and with 3 Major wins. A highlight for us was his showing, still a puppy, his first time out with Chris and Dick Baum. Stedman went first in sweepstakes under judge Edward Horton and in his class at the New Jersey Boxer Club Specialty under judge Judy Horton. His winning continued by taking yet another first place in his class at the Eastern Boxer Club Specialty under judge David Abraham. He crowned his streak at the American Boxer Club National Specialty by winning his class of 22 under judge John Connolly. Stedman has continued to perform in the ring. With only limited showing in 1998 he became a multiple BIS and BISS winning Boxer and finished in the Top 10 Boxers for the USA. We would like to thank Chris and Dick Baum for believing in Stedman as a show dog and for giving him all their love and care while he was away from home. We also wish to thank Ray Culberson and Bill weber for their love of the breed and for their support of Stedman in his show career. Stedman left us October 2005 after an incredibly successful career in both the US and Japan. Many thanks go to his overseas home where he was loved and adored. |
