A SHORT STORY ABOUT US......

Summer of 2002 was the first beginning of Barbed Wire. We where tired of looking at how our boyfriends would play gigs. We didn' t  want to be part of the crowd anymore..... we wanted the crowd for ourselves! So that's  why we: Marjella (guitar) , Pascalle (bass) and Astrid (drums) started the band. We first had Stefanie on vocals, but because of personal reasons she left Barbed Wire.  We rehearsled  a while with Billy (from black vampire) as singer, and we thougt this wasn't a bad combination! And with our first gig coming up he was a big help!

A few weeks before the first gig we found a new female singer in Anna, which we  met at a gig. At May 24th Barbed Wire gave a gig in cafe de Witte Ballons. The gig went very, very well and the  audiance was great! And now we tasted what it's like to be on stage we want MORE! So if you now a nice place to play, let us know!
