what the heck happened? wasn't it all sunny and summery just last week? suddenly it's raining like it was 2 months ago! strange, strange indeed.
i got the cutest surprise valentine in the mail on monday from a little boy named j and his sweet mommy dina! too cute. what a wonderful surprise, thanks dina! and that same night, since dina was in my thoughts, i dreamt that i finally met her! she was going to the gym tho, so our meeting was very short. hehe.
i seriously need to watch what i'm eating these days and head to the gym. jung started, i should too. on monday, i had bk for lunch and almost got the runs. yesterday, i ate mcd's. it was so yummy, but i ate *so* much. i think i'll skip lunch with my coworkers this afternoon and just eat cereal. when i eat with my coworkers, i end up eating a lot. must stop. must stop eating so much fast food in one week! i have a wedding dress to fit into very soon!
that reminds me, i need to contact house of brides, the online store where i ordered my dress. i should be getting the dress later this month. oooh, i'm nervous and excited at the same time. i have a picture of it but i kind of don't remember how it looked... i hope it fits. i hope the color is right. i hope it looks ok on me. i hope i hope i hope. keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. thanks.
since parkin and i are driving to la this friday night, i wanted to make sure that my car was ready for the long trek. there has been this squeaking noise when i brake, a knocking noise when i brake, and also a whirring noise after i drive on the freeway. yesterday morning, i brought my car to the shop where my friends recommended. i was a bit iffy about taking my car to the usual shop because every single time i go there, i end up spending an arm and a leg on things that they find wrong with my car. (sucks to have no knowledge about car stuff) and since these guys were friends with my coworkers, i knew i wouldn't get stiffed. so anyways, i picked up my car last night and no more squeaking! no more knocking! but then i drove to work this morning, and the whirring is still there. :( i don't think that the guy heard it yesterday during the test drive... he said that he didn't hear it when i asked him about it. i feel like it's only there when i drive alone... but i dont' think i'm imagining it, parkin heard it before i think. *sigh* i have really bad car karma.
i can't wait to go to la this weekend. *does happy dance in chair* i'm looking forward to seeing peg, ashlyn, and aric. i love staying at their house, it's really homey and comfortable. bonus, i dont' have to share ashlyn with other aunties and uncles. hehe. i also made plans to see one of my cousins out there. she's an interesting character, as most of my cousins are, so it'll be ... interesting but fun i'm sure. i also have plans to go to the garment district with peg to FIND purple satin for their bridesmaids dresses. that is the plan and i fully expect to fulfill this goal. maybe meet up with a chicky named winnie? that would be cool too! ;)
since parkin and i don't really celebrate valentine's day besides going to an expensive restaurant for dinner, we dont' mind driving instead of doing that. we'll have a romantic dinner at in & out when we stop for gas. how ghetto! hehe.
