yesterday was parkin and my 6 year anniversary of our first date. six years ago yesterday, we had planned to meet at the library. six years ago yesterday, i waited for him but didn't see him. did he flake on me? six years ago yesterday, parkin finally met me outside the sjsu library and we went back to my apartment to have dinner. six years ago yesterday, we shared our first kiss. what did we do to celebrate this anniversary? nothing. we dont' celebrate the anniversary of our first date, except to say, "happy first date anniversary lubber!" hehe. i was so tired yesterday. the weather complimented my mood completely. it was cloudy and dark outside and inside my heart it was gray. as soon as i got home, i changed and plopped into bed. i slept from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, waking up only to give my parents some invitations, finished labelling jung family invitations, and watched tv. parkin also saved me a plate of dinner, so i ate, watched tv then went back to sleep by 10:30pm. by the time jung came back from the gym, i was sleeping soundly with a pillow over my head. (just in case he turned on the light) yesterday was a pretty crappy day. it wore me out. it started with my mom and i arguing about the guest list to our wedding. apparently my dad said that if he couldn't invite this one friend of his, he wouldn't go to my wedding. after 6 months of us asking him to add to the guestlist he said no, he was ok. after my mom asked him if there was anyone he wanted to add he said no, he was ok. 2 days after parkin and i finish labelling each and every invitation is when he decides that he wants to invite this one friend. and if he can't invite them, he threatens my mom that he won't go to my wedding. i was so mad yesterday when i heard this. also, we had stamped all of the invitations that my mom did not want to hand out on saturday, but yesterday she decides that she wants a bunch back so that she can hand them out or send with a package, thus wasting the $0.60 stamp that we purchased and stuck onto each invitation envelope. *sigh* if she had told me ahead of time that she wanted to hand deliver invitations, i would not have stamped any of her invitations. *shaking head* parkin put the rest of the stamped invitations in the mailbox today. no more changes! so invitations have finally been sent. if you receive an invitation, please rsvp soon! we'd really appreciate it. and if you don't receive an invitation in the next few days, more than likely you are not invited to the wedding. if you didn't recieve a save the date card, you probably won't be recieving an invitation. we do have a "B" list, but we have to wait and see if there is room. if your invitation says your name only, then only you are invited. if your invitation says your name and guest, then you can bring a date. but if we have never met your significant other before, they are probably not invited. damn, we're strict. but if we allowed every single person to bring a date, well, we'd have about 400 guests, and well, there's just not enough room for that especially since the JUNG and LEE clan invited over 600 of their own guests. *sigh* who's wedding is this again? oh yeah, the parents. :/ i'm sorry if i sound bitter, but i am. but here are a couple of pictures during our valentine's la trip that make me smile! enjoy and have a great day! |

my favorite photo after a long day of shopping and eating, while aric, peggy, parkin and i watched lord of the rings: the two towers, the married couple fell straight asleep! notice aric's strange positioning and peggy's frown. teehee |
ashlyn has learned to express her feelings really well. whenever someone tells her no, or not to do something, she looks and them and piggy pouts! you want to be mad, but how can you not laugh at that! |
