| she woke in the morning she knew that her life had passed her by she called out a warning don't ever let life pass you by i suggest we learn to love ourselves before it's made illegal when will we learn, when will we change just in time to see it all come down those left standing will make millions writing books on ways it should have been she woke in the morning she knew that her life had passed her by so she called out a warning don't ever let life pass you by warning -incubus no response cards in the mail yesterday. boo. but i know that they have landed and it makes me happy to learn that the us postal office hasn't messed up in any way.... that i know of at least. my friend may who lives in hawaii always had problems with packages sent through the mail. she sent her brother a birthday gift, a jacket one year, and he never got it! she got the jacket in hong kong and sent it when she got home to hawaii and her brother never got it. that sucks. please, if you have received an invitation, please rsvp as soon as you can. we'd really appreciate your promptness. plus, the sooner you reply, the better banquet/restaurant seats you will get! hehe. i really need to get my butt back to the gym. i'm back into my fat jeans. the jeans i wear that are baggy and loose and ultimately comfortable. dammit. i've been trying to watch what i eat, i haven't had mcdonalds or burger king for a couple of weeks. taco bell, on the other hand... i'm trying to eat more veggies and fruit, when they are in front of me. hehe. i wish that there was an all girls gym here like the one my friend peg was talking about! my boss brought his bo-flex here to work because he wasn't using it at home. haha! we joked that we should all bring our gym equipment from home and start a gym membership in the building. :) i want to borrow someone's pilates video too... *doorbell rings* it was fed ex! it's my wedding gown! it's arrived! it's arrived! wow, the box is small... *opens box* it's the one! they didnt' get my order wrong. *whew* i dont' want to take it out just yet. i'm alone here at the office right now, but everyone should be in very soon. plus, i dont' know if i'll be able to fold it securely back into it's teeny box. oooh, i'm so excited that it finally arrived. i knew that it was shipped earlier this week, but for some reason or nother, couldn't track it online. i hope that it fits alright. it was a little loose at the store, but i've gained some weight since then, so maybe it'll fit perfectly now and i won't have to do too many alterations! hehe. maybe i shouldn't head back to the gym... *grins ear to ear* i really want the soundtrack for chicago, the movie. they've been playing 'all that jazz' by catherine zeta-jones on the radio and i love it. i loved the movie. after parkin and i watched daredevil i snuck into the chicago showing and watched one of the performaces. great movie. hmm... maybe i'll pick it up at costco the next time i'm there. i love musicals. haha! coincidentally they are playing a chicago commercial on the radio right now! must be a sign. it's finally the end of the week, but can you believe it's already the end of the month? the months are just buzzing by. in just a couple of months, i'll be a married woman. as my friend khine, who is also engaged to be married in june, said to me yesterday, "we'll no longer be cute engaged women. we'll be married old ladies." hahaha! way to keep my head up! happy friday web-friends! and have a wonderful weekend! |
