the allergens are among us!  the allergens are among us!  lots of sneezing and stuffy nose these past mornings. *sniff, cough, cough*

i had felt such a sense of accomplishment yesterday.
11:30 am - i left work early, picked parkin up from work and he told me that he called to book our honeymoon.  we hope to receive confirmation by week's end.
12:00 pm - from sf, we drove to san mateo to meet up wtih selina, picked her up and had some good eats at aya sushi.  i think that's what it was called.  they have the best deep fried california rolls there.
2:00 pm - after dropping selina back at work, we drove to palo alto to meet with our officiant, rev. bob olmstead.  he was an adorable man and very nice.  we went step by step thru the ceremony and he told us what to expect.  yay, it's expected to be a short and sweet ceremony - about 20 minutes.  exactly what we wanted.
3:00 pm - after leaving the church's office, we head over to redwood city to register for a marriage license.  in and out!  damn, if you ever decide to get your marriage license, do NOT go to san francisco.  go to redwood city.  we had expected to be there for at least an hour, but it took less than 20 minutes.
3:30 pm - went to hilsdale for me to pick up a couple of things while parkin napped in the car.
4:45 pm - eye appointment with dr. szeto  =)
thanks cin!
6:15 pm - picked up a couple things at stonestown and met the manager of the fashion jewelery department.  i might get a part time job with them for some easy extra cash flow.
6:30 pm - dinner at mcdonalds!  2 filet o fishies for $2.22.  yum!
7:00 pm - HOME!

while jung went to the gym, i had planned to make lemon bars with fresh lemons from my mom's lemon tree and dehydrate some fruits last night but spent the whole evening in front of the computer attempting to dl music.  i'm mad because everything i wanted off of the daredevil soundtrack was totally messed up!  *grrrr*  so the baking and dehydrating of fruits will wait til tonight after my yoga class.  yup you heard me right, a first attempt in a yoga class in the city.  i hope i make it to the class.  my cousin laura has been very gung-ho about yoga for the past year, and i took it in college but not again since then.  she has a free pass for me to try it out tonight and if i like it, i'll join for a few days.  the studio has an offer for 10 days for $10.  it's a bikram yoga class where they heat up the room and the instructor teaches you to do poses in the hellish heat.  i hope it doesn't smell like feet in the studio.  bleh.  wish me luck!

speaking of yoga, hehe, have you seen the cool magnets
lan made just recently?  it looks so fun and easy!  the craftiness in me wants to make some this week.  must be on the lookout for cute little designs and pictures.

we decided to extend the banquet tables into the yank sing restaurant to accomodate more people.  the atrium itself holds about 75 tables, but since we plan to keep an area clear for lion dancing and dancing, only 60ish tables can be set up along the atrium, and since parkin's parents want to invite more people, we told them that they can have a group set up in the restaurant, if that's what they want.  they want.

not much in the typing mood.  hope ya'll are having a great morning.
late.
